Getting married at the Chastenay
The Chastenay is a historic house still lived in by its family. For a few weddings a year, we make an exception and open its doors: the Renaissance courtyard, the timber hall open to the valley, the bergerie and the meadows are yours for a weekend.
You are free to choose your caterer and suppliers. A visit to the nearby Grottes d’Arcy can also find its place in your weekend.
A weekend at the Manor
The spaces are yours from Friday to Sunday, so you can take your time.
Arrive
Arrival, setting up, an informal dinner with the first guests.
Celebrate
Ceremony in the courtyard, drinks reception, dinner, party.
Linger
Brunch, lunch or a last moment with your loved ones.
We do not offer accommodation on site; we will gladly suggest addresses nearby.
The spaces
The Renaissance courtyard
Ceremony, drinks receptionAbout 1,150 m² in front of the 1549 façade, enclosed by the outbuildings and the old enclosure wall. The secular ceremony is held here, followed by the drinks reception.
The timber hall
DinnerA timber frame open to the meadows and the Cure valley, for dinner.
The bergerie
Party, music, shelterThe bergerie (sheepfold) and outbuildings, about 350 m² of stone, host the party and the music, and offer shelter.
The meadows
Photos, drinks, activitiesAround the round tower and the outbuildings, the meadows lend themselves to sunset photos, drinks or activities.

Our principles
- Few events a year. We host only a few, to welcome each one properly and so that the Manor remains a home.
